2nd Phase of Orientation Program for Spring 2016 Students

 

The 2nd phase of orientation program of Spring 2016 students of University of Asia Pacific was held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at UAP permanent campus at Green Road, Dhaka.

Prof. Dr. M. R. Kabir, Acting Vice Chancellor, UAP was the Chief Guest and welcomed the new students. He advised the students to make the best use of their time and along with their academic activities, participate in various co-curricular activities that UAP offers.

Mr. Qayum Reza Chowdhury, Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), Mr. C. M. Shafi Sami and Mr. Ishtiaque Ahmed, members, BOT also spoke at the session. They recalled the pioneering role that the founder Vice Chancellor of the University Late Mr. Hedayet Ahmed played in laying the foundation the UAP in 1996.

Mr. Sarwar R Chowdhury, Registrar, UAP then took the floor and reminded the students of their duties and responsibilities. He was followed by Dr. Abu Sayeed Mostaque Ahmed Proctor, UAP.

The session was concluded with a round of applause for the newly admitted students and their guardians.
